Instructions
Forward the original documents to us to hand-carry to the Texas Secretary of State (SOS). We recommend using an overnight service that provides tracking and guarantees delivery such as FedEx, The Brown Store (UPS), DHL, or Lone Star (TX, OK, and LA only).
Important: Please email or call us when sending documents to make sure we can pick them up as soon as possible.
Send Original Documents
- For Standard service, request afternoon delivery for service the following day. (3:00 pm for FedEx; 5:00 pm for UPS)
- For Rush Service, request delivery
at or before 10:30 am (note that our deliveries are not available before 9:00 am so do not send business first).

Items Needed
- The original documents.
- Indicate which country your documents are for.
- A phone number where you can be reached if there is a problem.
- Include a prepaid overnight mailer envelope for your documents' quick return.
- Include a personal check made payable to Texas SOS for the amount of SOS fees.
- Include a separate check made payable Paperchasing for the amount of our fees.
Items to Double-Check
Review the items below to make sure your documents will not be delayed:- Make sure the notary signed the paperwork.
- Review all documents for notary seals. Make sure the notary commission date is present.
- Make sure the date of the notarized signature matches the date the notary signed.
